Terms, Returns & Refunds

We want you to love every cup. These terms cover how ordering, shipping, returns, and refunds work — written plainly, the way they should be.

These terms apply to every order placed with Lakou Reserve, a coffee and cacao brand by SLDS International. By placing an order you agree to them. If anything here isn't clear, email us before you buy and we'll happily explain.

Ordering

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy the products in your cart. Your order is confirmed once we accept it and send your confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order — and refund you in full — if a product is unavailable, if there's a pricing or description error, or if we suspect fraud.

• You confirm the information you provide at checkout — name, contact details, and shipping address — is accurate. We're not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by an incorrect address.
• Some items may be offered as pre-orders, which ship once the harvest lands. Pre-order timing is communicated at checkout and is an estimate, not a guaranteed date.

Pricing & availability

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and are set on this site at the time you order. They can change without notice, but the price you see at checkout is the price you pay for that order. Applicable taxes and shipping are calculated and shown before you confirm.

Because our coffee and cacao are seasonal and harvest-driven, products and roast or grind options can sell out or vary between harvests. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we'll contact you to offer an alternative or a full refund.

Payment

Shipping

We ship within the United States via standard carriers, with local pickup and delivery available in the NYC/NJ area. Shipping options and costs are shown at checkout.

• Orders are typically packed and shipped within a few business days. Pre-orders ship after the harvest arrives.
• Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and aren't guaranteed. Once a package leaves our hands, transit times and any carrier delays are outside our control.
• Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. If a package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us right away and we'll make it right (see below).

Returns & refunds

That said, we stand behind everything we send. If your order arrives damaged, defective, was sent in error, or never arrives, contact us within 14 days of delivery (or expected delivery) at hello@lakoureserve.com with your order number and, if relevant, a photo. We'll arrange a replacement or a full refund — your choice.

• Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. It can take a few business days for your bank or card issuer to post the refund.
• If you simply changed your mind, reach out quickly: if your order hasn't shipped yet, we can usually cancel and refund it in full.
• We're not able to refund issues caused by an incorrect address you provided or by leaving perishable goods undelivered for an extended time.

Wholesale orders

Wholesale and café orders are governed by the terms agreed in your wholesale arrangement (including minimums, lead times, and Net-30 payment after a first order). Where those terms differ from this page, the wholesale terms apply to wholesale orders.

Acceptable use

Please use this site lawfully and don't attempt to disrupt it, access it without authorization, or misuse our content. All brand names, logos, text, and images on this site belong to SLDS International and may not be reused without permission.

Limitation of liability

We work hard to describe our products accurately and to deliver them in great condition. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lakou Reserve and SLDS International are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or our products, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law, and nothing here excludes liability that can't legally be excluded.

Allergens

Our products are coffee and cacao and may be processed in facilities that also handle nuts, dairy, or other allergens. If you have a food allergy, please check the product details or contact us before ordering.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. The terms in effect when you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.
